Our focus is on tennis for everyone. As a former Swiss No. 13 with a federal professional tennis instructor certificate, Danny Freundlieb has been successfully running his tennis school for 40 years and thus brings a wealth of experience.
Our main aim is to inspire as many people as possible with an enthusiasm for tennis, and to motivate them to play the game with family, friends and colleagues. That’s why we offer a comprehensive range of courses for all age groups and levels of ability. So whether you are a beginner, an occasional player, or a top athlete – everyone will feel at home in our school environment.

At the Schlieren Tennis School, our goal is to inspire people of all ages to play tennis, and to convey our joy and passion for this beautiful game. We see sport as not only good for health, but also an essential means of communicating socially relevant values. We offer meaningful leisure activities for children and young people in particular, and encourage the development of their tennis. We awaken ambition and the joy of competitive sport through tournaments and competitions, where honesty and sportsmanship are always the highest priority.
Within the tennis club, we promote "inclusion" and the social aspects of the game and put ourselves at the service of our members and their needs. Our tennis school is financed through lessons, advertising revenue and sponsorship, and we wholeheartedly share the club's goals.

Danny Freundlieb – Experienced coach and former top player
With over 40 years’ experience as head of the tennis
school, Danny Freundlieb is an outstanding personality in
the tennis world. As a former Swiss number 13 with a
federal professional certificate, he is an experienced
professional player with an extensive knowledge of the
sport of tennis.
With achievements including multiple entries to
prestigious tournaments such as the Swiss Indoors, and
an impressive victory on the ATP Tour against the then
number 124 in the world rankings, he has proven he can
deliver outstanding performances, both as a player and
as a coach. You will be inspired by his expertise and
passion for tennis, and sure to benefit from his extensive
know-how.
Sascha Griesser – Versatile coach and experienced tennis trainer
As a former player at Future level and coach to players at Challenger and Future level, Sascha Griesser brings extensive experience to tennis. He was a sparring partner for former ATP Top 100 players, has successfully coached both children and teenagers, and supervises both amateur and competitive players. Sascha Griesser completed his training in Austria and has been working as a tennis coach since 2000. He also holds a Master of Arts in Business from the University of Applied Sciences, Vienna. Sascha Griesser’s expertise as a tennis coach has been honed at various schools and tennis performance centres in countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Croatia and Slovenia. His diverse experience and passion for the sport make him an outstanding coach who can help you take your tennis game to the next level.
